India opener Ishan Kishan jumped 10 places to be ranked 23rd while Deepak Hooda re-entered the top 100 in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings for T20 batsmen released on Thursday. Both the batsmen have improved in their rankings after their stellar performances against Sri Lanka in the first T20 International in Mumbai on Tuesday. India won this match by two runs. Hooda’s unbeaten 41 off 23 balls saw him jump 40 places to 97th position, while Kishan was rewarded for his brilliant 37 at the top of the order.
Even after failing with the bat in Mumbai, Suryakumar Yadav has retained the top position in this ranking. In second place is Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan. There is no Indian player in the top 10 list except Suryakumar Yadav.

Hardik Pandya has improved 9 places
